As we being 2018, it is with a heavy heart that I write about a lost member, and our beloved Trail Master. A cherished husband, father, brother and friend.
On December 19th 2017, Normand Lapointe lost his battle with cancer, a courageous fight he put forth and goes without mention, he continued to break all the rules. His love and his spirit of passion for the Upper Enchanted area, where he and his wife Lisa spent a majority of their time is unparalleled to many. He loved ATVing, and spent as many hours on a snowmobile. He loved working on the trails and he took his role as a Trail Master very serious, giving assurance to the safety of all those that wanted to be out to enjoy riding the roads that he was tasked to keep clear of debrie. He was always willing to help out where ever he could and his countless hours donated to the trail work, for the 70 miles that we maintained as a club, will forever be appreciated.
SO.. THE NEXT TIME YOU HAVE A RED SOLO CUP OR A BEER OR A BEVERAGE IN YOUR HAND (when your not riding the trails) RAISE IT UP TO NORMAND, AND CELEBRATE HIS SPIRIT, AS IT WILL LIVE ON IN ALL THOSE THAT KNEW HIM.
NORMAND YOU ARE, AND WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED.
