Last Fall, Kelly our club President, submitted our 3 year plan to the Dept. of Conservation. This targets problem trail areas and we will focus on getting the trails in good shape for the rider, as well as the owner of said trail.
Our goal this year was to fix the "No Name Road", this road connects off from 201, to the Judd Road, and there were several culverts sticking up that could be a problem.
Our Second phase would be to fix the Johnson Mountain side of Coburn MTN; it's pretty rocky through there, and you are forced to go slow; we are in the hopes of fixing that section of trail, in fact, our trusty trail worker, Butch, does most, if not all of our work, and he will be up there to look at the mountain to see what can be done to make this a better ride.
Also, other section of trail is the 201 connector to the Parlin Pond Loop Trail; you have to travel up 201, and last Fall, we noticed that the side of the road was getting a lot of wear and tear, this may change in priority, but we are looking at how to make this section better too.
Let us hear your concerns; Its only four people that make this happen, and we would love to hear your comments and concerns.
